Why do I need to look for work?

There are many reasons why you need to look for work. It is always a good idea to sit down before you start looking for work and figure this out.

Some of the general reasons are:

  • Financial security
  • To be able to travel
  • Increase in self-worth/confidence and self-esteem
  • To feel you are contributing to the community in some way
  • To own a car/house/boat/business
  • To gain independence

And the list goes on....

After you have worked out why you want to work, you then need to be sure that you are ready to start looking.
